The Telegraph article has been well researched and reveals (as if the Royal Commission didn't in it's own way) the depths to which watchtower will stoop to avoid its moral and social and lawful obligations.

Totally despicable. But we know that fact and it comes as no real surprise.

With the knowledge of there being no possibility of it ever happening I intend to contact the society here in Oz and invoice them pending settlement for a repayment of the money (several thousand dollars) I donated to the hall I mentioned previously. It will be done in my own inimitable manner. Respect and courtesy will not be a priority. I would not expect a reply to be forthcoming.

When I get it sent off I will post a copy to this post.

Land donated by a brother. Hall built by gullible volunteers. Materials donated or majority purchased at cost or trade price.

Wife asked her father what was going on and the reply was that "we don't need the expense of upkeep for a thirty year old building". BULLSHIT! She didn't ask him where the funds from the sale would be going - but certainly not to the members of the local congo.

The evil, wicked, deceitful watchtower will pocket the funds to quite likely fund court cases arising from the Royal Commission into Institutionalised Child Sexual Abuse. I hope they get taken to the cleaners, evil bastards.

just wondering if anyone has ever posted their personal information and have proof that the borg is watching and sent the gestapo to get them?.

i will be announcing my resignation and da myself - and i am objectively looking at either doing it bud dwyer (not really like him but by extension) style at a meeting or an email blast or just giving a letter to the boe?.

any advice is appreciated.

Real name not revealed yet, but I intend to at a time in the future when my wife's piece of shit father finally leaves her in peace by doing the only decent thing he would have done in his life, and dies.

It all comes done to personal satisfaction. Forget the naysayers who say that by announcing your desire to part ways with the cult, you are only pandering to their wishes. If it suits you and gives you piece of mind, a measure of closure, or just that downright good feeling that you have, to virtually have said to the cult to stick their way of life up their arses, then so be it.

I would relish the opportunity to be able to announce from the platform exactly how I felt about the entrapment and deceit and wickedness of the cult. You have the chance, take it, and bask in your momentary apostate fame.

There are words of being respectful, and not to belittle or undermine the witnesses faith. What total bullshit! Forget about trying to have the best possible outcome for waking people up. The wts and it's jehovahs witness zombies, neither engender, nor deserve any respect. Little, if anything, you do will wake any up - to what? the fact that you are now considered a mentally diseased apostate.

Have your brief time of glory, then get on with your life, minus any interaction with the cult hierarchy or it's members.

A brilliant yet humble man with a heart of gold.

I doubt whether there would be many others amongst the legal fraternity who could have handled the jw aspect with such aplomb, understanding and compassion, whilst dealing with them in a manner which left them shellshocked.

A man of no religion, who was pleased to have been able to "shine a bright light on some very dark places".

Whilst I have no empathy for jws, I must say I would not envy the jw who had the misfortune to knock on this gentleman's door.

Anyone who has not taken the time to watch the ARC proceedings should take the time to watch a genius at work. And yes, he was the frontman for a very skilled team.

This news actually brought tears of joy to my eyes. I hope that your son's wife will also see the truths that have been revealed by the ARC.

Many people I know who were previously tolerant of religion have changed their view of religion and their leaders due to the facts revealed by the ARC.

All religions brought before the ARC should be rightly quaking in their boots, especially now that the National Redress Scheme to victims has been adopted.

One can only wonder what will be the WTS reaction will be to the scheme and if they will even participate. I for one hope they are forced to co-operate and that it costs them big time.

i could never understand why some people who know the truth about the "truth" ever go back.

NO, never. And even that would be too soon.

And as for the simple act of entering a kingdom hall - I wrote a letter to the local clowns years ago stating that I would need to be either dead or in a coma in order for me to pass through those doors.
